Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens when you join the Jeez private-alpha waitlist. The short version: we keep your email and the few answers you choose to give, we use them only to invite you to the alpha, and we delete them when you ask.
Who runs Jeez
Jeez is an early-stage product built by its founder in Istanbul, Türkiye. The company is not incorporated yet, so the founder is personally responsible for your data (the data controller). Contact: hello@getjeez.app.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store:
- Your email address.
- The consent version: which version of this notice you agreed to when you ticked the box.
- The source: which form on the site you used.
- Optional answers: how you track money today, how many accounts and apps you juggle, your hardest money question, and whether you're open to a 15-minute call. Only if you choose to answer.
- Timestamps: when you joined and when your entry last changed.
We don't ask for financial data on this site. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ad or tracking scripts. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect it; we don't add that data to the waitlist.
Why we use it
- To invite you to the Jeez private alpha and email you about it.
- If you said you're open to a call, to contact you about a short research interview.
We rely on your consent, which you give with the checkbox on the form. We don't send newsletters or emails about anything else, and we never sell your data or share it for advertising.
Where it's stored
In a Cloudflare D1 database in our own Cloudflare account. Cloudflare acts as our hosting provider and runs data centres in many countries, so your data may be stored or processed outside Türkiye. Nobody else gets access to the waitlist.
How long we keep it
Until the private alpha ends plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. After that we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before. These rights come from Türkiye's data protection law (KVKK, article 11) and, if you're in the EU or UK, from the GDPR.
To delete your data, email hello@getjeez.app from the address you signed up with. We'll confirm within 30 days. You can also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this notice changes, the version date at the top changes too. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we'll ask for your consent again.
Türkçe özet
Bu site, Jeez'in kurucusu tarafından İstanbul'dan yürütülür. Şirket henüz kurulmadığı için veri sorumlusu kurucunun kendisidir. Özel alfa bekleme listesine katıldığınızda e-posta adresinizi, onayladığınız metnin sürümünü, kaydolduğunuz formu, isteğe bağlı cevaplarınızı ve tarih bilgilerini saklarız. Bu verileri açık rızanıza dayanarak yalnızca sizi özel alfaya davet etmek ve izin verdiyseniz kısa bir araştırma görüşmesi için iletişime geçmek amacıyla kullanırız.
Veriler kendi Cloudflare hesabımızdaki D1 veritabanında tutulur; Cloudflare veriyi Türkiye dışındaki veri merkezlerinde işleyebilir. Veriler alfa bitiminden sonra 12 ay boyunca ya da silinmesini isteyene kadar saklanır. Çerez, analitik, reklam ve veri satışı yoktur. KVKK 11. madde kapsamındaki haklarınız (bilgi alma, düzeltme, silme, rızayı geri çekme) için hello@getjeez.app adresine yazabilirsiniz.
